Let me start by saying this was a remarkable week in which I was fortunate enough to meet some fabulous people and gain from the skills of some three truly gifted tutors; Jean Toussaint, Liane Carroll and Simon Purcell.

What made this a particularly awesome week were some of the following aspects of the summer school:

• The wonderful location, remotely positioned to aid focus and help maintain a community spirit.

• The warmth of the delegates; I couldn't have wished to meet such a fantastic group of people.

• The way in which we all learnt from each other complementing the invaluable skills learnt from the tutors
